iCoffee’s 12-cup French press-style model includes the following features:
iCoffee RCB100-BC12 offers the best overall performance, brews the most coffee at a time, and uses a unique process. It has a basket that is slightly larger than a drip coffee maker. As with a French press, hot water is used to spritz and circulate the grounds in the basket before filling the carafe. Remington says the process eliminates the bitter aftertastes of drip coffee. A good thing about this product was how easy it was to use, and the carafe was easy to pour from; it also was easy to empty.
Our reviewers tested the iCoffee RCB100-BC12 as part of We Review Coffee’s Coffee makers testing program. The RCB100-BC12 was tested in our lab and rated based on multiple factors, such as the ones listed below.
The small-batch setting makes it possible to make a partial pot of coffee without sacrificing quality. However, this product is not equipped with this feature.
This machine lacks brew-strength control, a feature that allows brewing times to be adjusted so that coffee is either weaker or stronger.
It can be programmed to brew at a given time and is equipped with a clock.
